The Kind Mango Tree

A mango tree stood by the lane. In summer it made a cool tent of leaves. Meera and Arun loved its fruit.
One day they both grabbed the same ripe mango. It fell and bruised. Grandmother smiled. “The tree still has more. Sit. We cut, we share, we say thank you.”
They ate half each. Birds took the tiny leftover bits. The tree kept standing, kind as always.
What did we learn?
Sharing keeps joy bigger. A gift is happier when many can taste it.
