On the other hand, "Barbie" will compete for the best comedy or musical category, facing off against "Air," "American Fiction," "Poor Things," "May December," and "The Holdovers."

HBO's "Succession," a portrayal of a media mogul's tumultuous family, leads with nine nominations for its final season. Following closely are FX's "The Bear" and Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building," each earning five nods. Alongside "Succession," the best TV drama category features "1923," "The Crown," "The Diplomat," "The Last of Us," and "The Morning Show." In the realm of comedy, "The Bear" and "Only Murders in the Building" will contend with "Abbott Elementary," "Barry," "Jury Duty," and "Ted Lasso."
