In September 2021, Saban Films secured distribution rights for "Butcher's Crossing" across North America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Scandinavia, with Altitude Film Distribution managing international sales and overseeing distribution in the UK and Ireland.
The film celebrated its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2022. It is set for a theatrical release in the United States on October 20, 2023.
